Dr. Piper Chalke

Family Physician

Dr. Chalke has degrees in health sciences and medicine. Following residency at the UBC Island Medical Program, she set up her family medicine practice in Metchosin with a special interest in women's health and maternity care. When not at the office, Dr. Chalke enjoys being immersed in oceanside nature landscapes of the west coast.

Dr. Robert O'Connor

Family Physician

Dr. O'Connor has degrees in biochemistry and medicine. Following residency at MUN, he worked in a Newfoundland outport oceanside hospital, then set up the current oceanside medical office in Metchosin. When not at the office, he can sometimes be found on a bike enjoying the trails, or a kayak enjoying the coastline bays.

Dr. Juliane Riemer

Family Physician

Dr. Riemer has loved living in Victoria area for the last 15 years! After completing her medical training in Alberta, and residency at UBC, she has been practicing family medicine with maternity care in Victoria since 2013. When she is not at the office, she can be found exploring the many trails and beaches that Vancouver island has to offer, along with her husband and kids.

Dr. Naseem Janmohamed

Locum Family Physician

Dr. Janmohamed is a long-term Metchosin family medicine physician, kindly helping patients of the community with locum coverage as needed. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, hiking, spending time with family including her grandson, breadmaking, and learning Spanish.

Dr. Dan O'Connell

Locum Family Physician

Dr. O'Connell has so far enjoyed over 30 years helping the patients in Metchosin through a family medicine practice including palliative care. He now kindly offers locum coverage when needed for Metchosin physicians. When not treating patients, Dr. O'Connell can be found running through the cross-country trails of Metchosin.

Donna

Office Manager

Donna is an office manager. She works half-time. She brings over 30 years of experience helping organize patients' care in Metchosin. When not working, Donna travels the world over, hiking peaks in different locales.

Roxie

Office Manager

Roxie is an office manager, working half-time. A polymath, Roxie works hard at every task that comes her way, a true rock star. When not at work, Roxie keeps fit with hot yoga.

Jessica

Office Manager

Jessica is a full-time office manager, bringing her five years of front desk experience to the medical office. Jessica loves to travel and explore new cites. When Jessica is not working, you can find her at the beach on a sunny day, the mall shopping, and the gym. She is very excited to greet everyone with a big smile.

Debbie

Locum Office Manager

Debbie kindly shares her decades of experience to provide backup for Donna, Roxie, and Jessica whenever needed. Debbie enjoys exploring the outdoor forests of west coast.

Barbie

Locum Office Manager

Barbie works as needed from her home office in Tofino. She brings her experience as a practicing registered nurse to the position. Barbie is also a marriage commissioner and loves everything outdoors.

Jeanette

Registered Nurse

Jeanette is a Masters-prepared registered nurse, and has taught at both University of Victoria and Camosun College. Her areas of expertise include primary health in remote communities, neurological rehabilitation, medicine/surgery and obstetrics. Jeanette's personal interests include landscape painting, harmonica and fitness.
